FAQ
Does Signo hold my keys?
Signo never holds your keys or funds. In ordinary use, every signing event happens locally in your wallet. The Terms of Service also define an optional Permission: a bounded, revocable on-chain authorization for one action through the Shield contract. It is live on X Layer and Arbitrum today and rolling out; you sign it once from your own wallet and can revoke it at any time.
What chains does Signo support?
Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, X Layer, Solana, and Robinhood Chain for execution-capable routes, plus read-only HyperEVM / Hyperliquid coverage. X Layer currently covers Aave v3, swaps, bridges, and a scoped portfolio read. See Protocol Coverage for the per-chain capability matrix.
Is there an API?
Yes. The public MCP server needs no key to read a public wallet report or draft an inactive agent or Shield permission for its owner to review. Drafting never authorizes spending. To let an AI app read and manage your own agents, connect your Signo account and approve its access; this works on Free and paid plans without a personal API key. The separate transaction-planning API remains in private beta; email the Signo integration team at contact@signo.fi for access. See For Integrators.
How does Signo make money?
Plans — Free has 15 requests a day; Plus and Pro are monthly or annual subscriptions that include a monthly credit allowance (1 credit per question, 5 per delivered transaction plan). Creating Agents from the Agents surface is free; Prepare Agents can spend credits later when they fire and draft a plan. See Pricing. Ordinary wallet-signed swaps and bridges carry no Signo execution fee; Shield execution is 10 bps (0.1%) on the amount spent. See Fees & Credits.
Why should I trust the AI with my funds?
The AI never receives your wallet keys. For one-off plans and Prepare agents, you review and sign in your wallet. Execute agents are different. You first authorize a bounded Shield permission. Then its contract enforces the signed action, the spending limits, the expiry, and the part of the condition that the chain can read, on later firings. See Security.
How is this different from a chat-based wallet?
The chat layer is the commodity. Signo's moat is the safe-execution boundary the model can't subvert. The chat is how you ASK; the boundary is what makes it safe to ANSWER with on-chain calldata.
Can I save a flow and share it?
You can save a prompt as a private template under Saved flows and run it again with different values. Publishing or sharing your own saved flow is not available. To share a ready-made template, open it under Signo flows and use Share; the recipient reviews and signs their own plan.
Can Signo watch my positions and act when something happens?
Yes — that's Agents. Set a condition and Signo checks it on a schedule. Notify sends an alert; Prepare drafts a response for your signature. Execute is live on X Layer and Arbitrum, and requires a separate, explicit on-chain Shield permission before it can act without another signature.
Can Signo repay all my Compound V3 debt with max?
No. Compound has no full-repay sentinel; enter an exact repayment amount. Signo refuses the maximum path rather than create an unlimited approval that could turn an overpayment into a deposit. Aave and Spark have a different maximum-value repayment path; see Token approvals.
Why can an ordinary plan ask for a maximum token approval?
Maximum approval is an implementation choice, not a requirement. A Uniswap v4 liquidity add approves the token to canonical Permit2 for reuse; the token-to-Permit2 approval remains until you revoke it, while the separate Position Manager authorization expires after 30 days. An Aave or Spark full repayment uses the protocol's maximum-value sentinel so the pool pulls the actual debt at execution, including accrued interest. Revoke these approvals through your wallet or a chain explorer. Settings → Wallet permissions covers Shield Execute approvals, not these ordinary Chat approvals. See Token approvals.
Can I use Signo from Telegram?
Yes — link a Telegram chat and you can talk to Signo, create Agents, and get notifications there. See Telegram.
How do I report a problem?
Use Send feedback on an Action Plan or email the Signo support team at support@signo.fi. For an Execute agent's firing, press Report a problem on the firing in the Agents page History tab. This opens a prefilled email to the same address. The team usually reviews Action Plan feedback within two business days. The support link in the app includes diagnostic context such as the page, build, browser, time, and a shortened wallet address; it never includes your full wallet address, keys, or anything signable.
