Automate DeFi without giving an AI your private key

You can automate DeFi without sharing your private key: an AI agent watches your positions and prepares the transactions, and the only signing key stays in your own wallet. Signo gives you AI agents that watch your DeFi positions around the clock. Each agent follows a position or a market condition you choose, alerts you on Telegram when it matters, and prepares the next step for you to review and sign in your own wallet. Signo never holds your funds.

Three levels, one rule

LevelWhat the agent doesWho signsCan it move funds?
NotifyChecks your condition and sends an alertNobodyNo
PrepareWhen the condition is met, builds the transaction planYou, in your wallet, for each planOnly after you sign
Execute (early access)Acts on its own inside a permission you signed onchainYou, at setup: you approve the token and sign the permissionOnly inside your signed limits

The rule for all three: Signo never receives your private key or seed phrase, and it never holds your funds.

What an agent can watch

  • A token price crossing a level, or moving by a percentage.
  • Your portfolio moving by a percentage in a time window.
  • A lending health factor on Aave, Spark, Compound V3 or Morpho.
  • Your own positions: Pendle PTs, LPs on Uniswap and Aero, supplied assets, rewards to claim, days to expiry.
  • A daily market brief, a schedule, or a condition you describe in plain English.

See Agents for the full list and how often each kind is checked.

How a Prepare agent works

  1. You describe the condition and the response, for example: "When my Aave health factor drops below 1.5, prepare a repay."
  2. Signo checks the condition on a schedule, normally once an hour.
  3. When the condition is true, you get a Telegram message with a review link (once Telegram is linked).
  4. You open the plan in Signo, check it, and sign it in your own wallet. Nothing moves before you sign.

Execute: limits that a contract enforces

In early access, an Execute agent can act without a new signature each time. Before it can act, you sign a permission from your own wallet. The permission is a record in the Signo Shield contract on X Layer or Arbitrum:

  • One action and one token, through the exact contracts you signed.
  • A limit per firing, a lifetime limit and an expiry. If you leave a limit empty, there is no limit of that kind. If you leave the expiry empty, it is five years.
  • The contract checks every firing. If a firing breaks your permission, the whole transaction reverts and nothing moves.
  • Your tokens stay in your wallet until a firing. The agent never holds them.
  • You can revoke the permission onchain at any time, with no approval from Signo.

Signo charges 0.1% of what each firing spends. The Shield contracts went through 15 review passes; they have not been formally audited. The code is public in the signo-shield repository. Details: What you authorize with an Execute agent and Give an AI agent limited spending rights.

What Signo never gets

  • Your private key or seed phrase. You sign in to Signo by signing one message; that is not a transaction.
  • Custody of your funds. A prepared plan goes from your wallet to the protocol's own contracts.
  • An approval to an address that an agent controls. For Execute, your wallet approves the Shield contract, which can spend only through a permission you signed.

Start

  1. Open app.signo.fi and connect your wallet.
  2. Link Telegram so alerts and plans reach you.
  3. Pick a preset on the Agents page, or describe the agent in Chat.

Creating an agent on the Agents page is free. In Chat, the message that creates an agent uses 1 credit, or one daily request on the Free plan. The Free plan keeps up to 3 of your agents active. Notify alerts are free. A plan that a Prepare agent delivers uses 5 credits on a paid plan, or one of the 15 daily requests on the Free plan. See Pricing.
