Execute on X Layer: Shield permissions cannot spend native OKB. Wrap OKB to WOKB first for an Execute send or the input side of a swap. A swap that buys OKB instead buys WOKB, which the review screen names before you sign. Bare BTC and ETH resolve to XBTC and XETH; USDT is accepted for USDT0. This restriction does not remove native OKB from Portfolio or ordinary wallet-signed routes. See Execute limits.
Execute on Arbitrum: the same spending rule applies. Wrap ETH to WETH first for an Execute send, supply or swap input. A swap that buys ETH instead buys WETH, which the review screen names before you sign. USD₮0 and USDT0 resolve to USDT, and bare BTC resolves to WBTC. Native ETH as an input is still refused.
Aggregators
- LiFi — ordinary wallet-signed EVM swaps outside X Layer, including Chat swaps on Arbitrum, and cross-chain bridges, including bridges to or from X Layer. Aero-specific Base swaps go through Aero's own router instead; LiFi still carries the bridge or cross-chain swap that brings capital to Base. Arbitrum Execute swaps use OKX DEX instead.
- OKX DEX — ordinary same-chain X Layer swaps and supported Shield Execute swap legs on X Layer and Arbitrum. If an OKX quote is unavailable, Signo refuses the swap; it does not fall back to LiFi. Ordinary X Layer swaps also refuse quotes with more than 15% price impact. This quote check is separate from slippage tolerance.
- Jupiter — primary Solana swap aggregator. Signo uses
/swap-instructionsfor Solana swaps and adds platform-fee account setup only when a fee is configured.
Protocols supported in flows / deposits / withdraws
- EVM yield + lending: Aave, Compound, Spark, Morpho, Yearn, Pendle, Maker / Sky Savings (sUSDS, sDAI, sUSDC).
- X Layer coverage: Aave v3 supply, withdraw, borrow, repay, and health reads; same-chain swaps route through OKX DEX, while cross-chain bridges use LiFi. Portfolio reads native OKB plus the assets listed by Aave v3 on X Layer. Pendle and Saffron are not supported there today.
- Morpho coverage: MetaMorpho vault deposits/withdrawals plus direct Morpho Blue isolated-market collateral, borrow, repay, and withdraw-collateral actions where a supported market is available.
- Pendle coverage: PT and YT entry and exit, PT redemption and rollovers, LP entry and exit, claims, and Agents. PT/YT/LP market addresses are quoted from live Pendle market data at plan time. Ethereum also supports PT-loop handoff and boxed-loop reads. Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Robinhood Chain support market discovery, positions, trading, claims, and Agents. Pendle is not supported on Polygon, Solana, or Hyperliquid. Robinhood Chain conversion is limited to tokens supported by the market's SY contract; arbitrary-token zaps may be unavailable.
- Saffron coverage: fixed-income vault entry, exit, and claim on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Robinhood Chain. Saffron positions on BNB Chain can appear in Portfolio and Agents, but Signo does not execute Saffron writes on BNB Chain today.
- Uniswap coverage: Chat discovers v3 and standard hookless v4 pools on Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum from DefiLlama's public yields index, filtered by token, pair, or chain. Results default to a $1 million TVL floor and sort by trailing fee APY (or TVL when requested); trailing APY is historical, not a forecast. A new position can be opened only in a standard v4 pool without hooks where both tokens are routable. v3 pools are reference-only for entry; supported existing v3 and v4 positions can be exited and have fees claimed.
- Aero coverage (Base): swaps compare verified direct classic stable and volatile pools, allowlisted Slipstream pools, and bounded two-hop classic routes through WETH or USDC at one block, then use the best output. Mixed classic/Slipstream routes are not built. A quote that would lose more than 15% of its input value is refused. Coverage also includes classic liquidity add, remove and zap, LP staking and unstaking in the pool's gauge, fee collection and AERO emissions claims; Slipstream concentrated positions (mint, increase, remove, collect, stake, same-pair rebalance); timed veAERO locks (create, top up, extend, withdraw after expiry); ETH ↔ WETH wrap and unwrap; and Agents for LP range, claimable rewards, pool APY and pool liquidity. Pools, gauges and position managers are verified on-chain at plan time. A minimum-stake Slipstream gauge can charge a live penalty for an early reward claim or withdrawal; Chat requires explicit confirmation of the current rate, re-reads it after confirmation, and refuses if it changed at that point. The confirmation is not an on-chain penalty cap. Capital on another chain is bridged or cross-chain swapped to Base through LiFi as its own plan first. Governance votes, Relay, sAERO and Velodrome are not supported.
- EVM LSTs / restaking: Lido, Rocket Pool, EtherFi, Swell, Coinbase, Mantle (mETH).
- Solana: Kamino, Jupiter Lend, Loopscale, Save (Solend).
Read-only / discoverable coverage
Some protocols or chains are visible in Signo for portfolio, yield, or risk context without being direct deposit/withdraw targets yet.
- Yo Finance: indexed for yield discovery and portfolio context, but not currently depositable or withdrawable through Signo's direct protocol adapters.
- Aave v4: visible as read-only market coverage where available; Chat does not route deposits or withdrawals into Aave v4 yet.
- Hyperliquid / HyperEVM: portfolio and perp-position context only. Signo does not execute Hyperliquid trades.
Risk
Signo classifies pools and protocols by risk, so you can factor it into any decision — in Chat, in Agents, or when browsing yields. These tiers are a signal to weigh, not a recommendation or a guarantee: every DeFi position carries smart-contract and market risk, and you review and sign each transaction yourself.
- Pool risk tiers. Yield pools are tagged verified, established, or emerging, based on a consistent read of several signals — independent institutional risk ratings, the protocol's track record and maturity, audit coverage, and liquidity depth — rather than a subjective, per-pool opinion. Each pool is also flagged for whether the protocol is audited. Filter by tier when browsing, and steer Chat by it — "best low-risk stable yield" narrows to verified/established pools.
- Incident registry. Signo maintains a risk registry and blocks or warns on specific protocols, pools, or assets after a major exploit or security event — even when the underlying router still supports them. Blocked items never appear in recommendations and won't be planned. This is the same registry the app enforces at plan time, not a manual doc list. (Example: Kelp DAO / rsETH, blocked after a $292M exploit.)
Token resolution
- EVM Chat swap symbols resolve through Signo's curated, chain-specific registry first, then LiFi's token lookup, then the wallet's holdings when a source wallet is available. This symbol-lookup path also applies to X Layer Chat swaps; the resulting same-chain swap is still quoted and routed through OKX DEX, not LiFi.
- X Layer token discovery in Chat uses OKX's X Layer token list. This is the list of available token names, not a trading-volume ranking.
- X Layer Execute drafts resolve Signo's curated names first, then symbols on OKX's X Layer token list. If multiple listed tokens share a symbol, the draft returns
needs_clarificationwith candidate addresses and token-page links; choose the intended address and retry.USDTis accepted as an alias forUSDT0; bareBTCandETHresolve toXBTCandXETH; a swap output ofOKBbecomesWOKB. The output conversion does not make native OKB spendable. Symbols are not an asset allowlist: an ERC-20 address can be supplied directly for transfers and swaps, while Aave actions require an Aave reserve. - Arbitrum Execute drafts work the same way, with LI.FI's Arbitrum token list in place of OKX's.
USD₮0andUSDT0resolve toUSDT, bareBTCresolves toWBTC, and a swap output ofETHbecomesWETH. Native ETH as an input is still refused. - Solana symbols route through Jupiter Token API v2 (
tokens/v2/search), fail-closed: bare symbols must be verified AND exact-match; ambiguous symbols refuse rather than guess — a wrong mint = lost funds. See Security. - Pasted mint addresses are looked up directly and accepted if the aggregator returns valid decimals.
For the exact smart contracts these routes touch, and links to each provider's official deployment registry, see Security → Smart contracts.
